AtraskMiesta.lt

For about half a year (very slow indeed), our 3 people dream team was working on start-up called AtraskMiesta.lt, it's basically team building, logical, orientalistic games in the city. Where teams plays with cars, laptops and our system (where they get levels, enters found codes, get tips for current level and etc.), searching for hidden codes, investigating old buildings, solving interesting problems and etc. Yesterday we had our first client game, everything went extremely well, and everyone was very very exited and emotional (in a good way) after game :) We're very glad about it. Now we'll proceed with planned features for our system and move forward in client lookup.

Best place to code/design is not in front of computer.

Today I've read blog post  and I actually agree with it. In my case I usually can't concentrate to think in front of computer, and usually always think on paper. By saying think I draw data structures and relations between them, in this way I can keep architecture simple and clear, also sometimes I list main Methods/Interfaces which I'm going to use.

How to steam music FROM mac/pc TO iPhone?

In my case, at home I have HiFi system and if I want to listen some music I connect my mac to my amplifier and that's it, but if I want to work, I'm sitting in like 5 meters from HiFi and I don't want to have this long wire to connect. So I started to search, my idea was to find an application for iPhone, connect amplifier to iPhone and somehow push (steam) music/sound to it via WiFi or something like that, after long searching and researching, I finally found perfect solution for this, it's application called: WiFi2HiFi

It's really good, the quality is great, the latency is good as well.
I really recommend it :) enjoy.

Python IDE for mac, Color Schemes and installation

So I'm trying to develop some python and Google apps engine for some time now, I'm still newbie but so far so good, I like the language it's so easy and intuitive that you can't imagine :)

I've tried to review various IDE applications for developing with python, but the one I like most is
Komodo IDE it's pretty nice and it fulfills my needs so far.

Also I like dar color schemes but the one which is integrated is not so nice. So I started looking around and find very nice web site which gathers various color schemes for it, it's kolormodo.com there you should find what are you looking for, download it, and just drag it on-top of your Komodo IDE icon to install it.

here is an screen-shoot:

Today I wanted to change my VS2010 Color Scheme and I can happily announce that I found really nice web site, where you can choose from nice existing schemes but also you can create your own on the fly with real time preview ;)
You can visit this site and dig in ;)
