How To Convert .flac to mp3 on mac os.

This was a big question for me...
I was searching for smth nice and free for some time, but with no luck.
Few days ago I found really nice application called Max. With it you can really enjoy converting your audio collections to various formats. It's really simple to use. And it's even Open Source!

Winamp auto-tag alternative on mac os.

So, I'm really happy with my new laptop - macbook pro. I really enjoy it, and everyday I learn smth new.
Few days ago I collided with a problem, I've got some mp3 files without tags (it would be really painfull to tag them all by my self), in Windows based machine it's simple, you open them in Winamp and sent to auto-tag feature, and it's done. On the Mac (I use Snow Lepard) they does not have an Winamp. So I've made an reasearch in that, and found a solution.
it's MusicBrainz Picard. It's really easy to use, and it's very good. (work for me :) )

I just bought MacBook Pro 15"

(full spec. is: MacBook Pro 15” 2.66GHz/4GB/320GB/GeForce 9400M/GeForce 9600M GT (256)/SD).

It's still in a post-box! I will open it when I get back home! :)

Can't decide which apple machine to choose..

I want to start development for iPhone and also have good macine to do some my daily stuff: work with visual studio(on windows), games and etc. So now i can't decide what to buy.
In my minds i have these:
* MacBook Pro 13" - would this be good if i'll connect big screen while work at home? (for travel it's best one. IMHO.)
* MacBook Pro 15"
* iMac 24"

I know that the best to work at home would be iMac but I travel a lot as well...

Can anyone help me to choose?;)

Japan 01 - Travel To Japan.

As you all know (maybe not all of you) I'm in Japan now. How I get here? So this is first story about how I get here.
So I left Lithuania about 7:30 AM, I flight about 2:30 to Amsterdam, my next plane to Tokyo is in 6 hours... so I walked around Schiphol airport for long time, two times fall a sleep and etc.., that was really boring...
Finally my plane to Tokyo arrived and I flight to there about 12 hours!!! OMG!!! that was really painful for my ass :) but there was and bright side, because food and drinks was free and in frond of each passenger was a TV where you can watch newest movies and TV series, so it was kinda nice flight. After a flight I've got to go through Japanese Migration Inspection, at first that was kinda scary but latter everything seems to be ok. Baggage time... I waited for my baggage for about an hour... no baggage... they lost it, or it left in Amsterdam or smth like that, so I prepared papers with information about it and left this deal to them. Some time latter they called and said that they found my baggage and it will be there next day, ok next day come and they call again... "we have your baggage, but we cracked it little bit, we're very sorry for that, and we will send you a magazine from which you can choose a new one" woow :) that's nice, I love how they work here. So I choose new bag, and I have it now :) It cost's about 900 LTL and I get it kinda for free :)
